MICKEY DOLENZ IS A MURDER SUSPECT IN "NIGHT OF THE STRANGLER"!- 1972 B-MYSTERY IS THE HORROR

Recommended to me by the good ole You Tube robots, this one definitely comes out of left field as Micky Dolenz, a few years after the Monkees demise stars in this B-movie blunder. However, as you will read from real reviews below, it's actually a pretty interesting film. Rife with bad acting, poor production and really bad stunts (come on, at least make it look like the guy threw a real punch!) this one somehow carves a niche. What that niche is, I have no idea. It sure gives an earnest try at being a murder-mystery and for that, we give it a nominal One & 1/2 Pinewoods.....The Horror!!

The Night of the Strangler (1972) review

THE NIGHT OF THE STRANGLER 1972 aka ACE OF SPADES aka IS THE FATHER BLACK ENOUGH? aka DIRTY DAN aka DIRTY DAN'S WOMEN Mickey Dolenz (Vance Robear), Michael Anthony (Lieutenant De Vivo), James Ralston (Dan Robear), Chuck Patterson (Father Jesse), Susan McCullough (Denise), Katie Tilley (Ann Novak), Ann Barrett (Carol), Warren J.

THE NIGHT OF THE STRANGLER - Jim Helms - "Holy Nightmare" (1972)

I waited and waited, and struggled and strived to find this movie, and then, through the miracle of the The Trash Palace, Brian Horrorwitz made it happen, but......... Now I know why "The Night Of The Strangler" was so freakin' hard to find, because nobody wants you to see this movie, and it can be a hard movie to watch!!

THE HORROR!!
