FIVE GREAT IAN HUNTER SOLO SONGS YOU PROBABLY NEVER HEARD BEFORE- THE HORROR!!

Always up for tipping my hat to Mr Hunter, one of the great legends of rock and a brilliantly talented songwriter- Here's 5 of his best AFTER MOTT THE HOOPLE solo tunes, ya dig? The Horror!!
STILL LOVE ROCK AND ROLL - This opening track from the solid but not stellar "Rant" album is pure Ian at his best - great vocals, band, lyrics, passion, production, it's all here in this track. Glad they stuck it number one cause imo the album goes slowly downhill from there.
ONE FINE DAY - This song from Ian's first solo album's sessions in 1975 first saw the light of day in 2001 on a compilation album and then again for '05's 30th anniversary of said album. The tune may be a ditty at 2:22 but it's a piano chord banging rocker that has Ian screaming positivity about being back on the scene. Want a song to get your day started, throw this on before you walk out the door.
LISA LIKES ROCK N ROLL - One of those love-it or hate-it type songs, this one deserves a listen for the production alone. I can't say I've ever heard a song mixed like this. Thumbs up!
WHEN THE WORLD WAS ROUND - From 2011's Shrunken Heads album, this song is Ian on all 8 cylinders, Just a beautiful ballad and Ian's vocal on this is one of his very best,
SILVER NEEDLES - Recorded live in the studio during the first week of 1980, this filler tune for the Welcome To The Club live album is a country-tinged ballad done on the total fly, but guess what? It works!
THE SHEER HORROR!!
