While TV movies may not be my favorite genre, every now and then a good one washes up on my shore. On The 2nd Day Of Christmas stars a young Mark Ruffalo and Mary Stuart Masterson. If you can get over the hurdle of suspending belief that any department store would ever order their security guard to watch over a single mom and her brat, then the rest is very enjoyable. Overall the acting and production
is top-notch and the movie tries hard to be a class act, I really dug the Norman Rockwellstyle title cards that mark each "chapter" of the story. Using my Pinewoods Rating System, I give this flick Three Healthy Pinewoods...The Horror!!
