JOHN CUSACK FINDS SOME "MONEY FOR NOTHING" IN THIS 1993 COMEDY/GANGSTER - THE HORROR!

Love the glasses John. Anybody remember THIS one? I must admit I had totally forgot about this film until recommended recently by the YouTube robots. Simply story and one that's been around the block more than a few times- working stiff finds money, decides to not turn it in and of course lands up learning valuable moral lesson. Zzzzz, but it' done pretty well. Best thing about this flick is the casting where we have some greats in their earlier years, Michael Rappaport, Phillip S Hoffman, Mike Madsen and others. My one big complaint with this one though is the uneven tone as it tries to stay a comedy and a gangster film at the same time and lands up tripping over itself. All in all Money For Nothing get's Three Pinewoods...for nothing....The Horror!!

Money for Nothing (1993 film) - Wikipedia

Money for Nothing is a 1993 American comedy crime film directed by Ramón Menéndez. It is based on a reporter's article about the life of Joey Coyle, an unemployed longshoreman in Philadelphia who, on February 26, 1981, found $1.2 million in the middle of the street after it had fallen out of the back of an armored car.

THE SHEER HORROR!!
