DEATH RACE 2000 MEETS AFRICA IN THE HORROR KNOWN AS 1982'S UNTHINKABLE "SAFARI 3000"

The last sputtering years of the drive-in movie brought us this horror known as Safari 3000. Not much good to report about this one except some actors on coke and some cool locations and stunts and rides. If you find yourself feeling embarrassed for Christopher Lee in this, that's because you should be! Under the Pinewoods Rating System, Safari 3000 only qualifies for One Pinewood, also known as A Pile Of Sappy Scaly Bark.....The Horror!!

The late seventies to mid eighties car chase flicks was catapulted from on the fly Roger Corman movies to the mainstream all because of Burt Reynolds. His Smokey and The Bandit parts one and two and Cannonball Run inspired many a filmmaker to make their own road hog star vehicles.

Christopher Lee Connects Darth Vader, Frankenstein, and Death Race 2000 in Safari 3000

Christopher Lee As Count Lorenzo Borgia in Safari 3000 Levy-Gardner-Laven - 1982 Safari 3000 is an obscure 1982 action movie about a long-distance auto race through Africa. Undoubtedly, Safari 3000 was heavily influenced by Death Race 2000. In Safari 3000, David Carradine (Frankenstein from Death Race 2000) plays the lead role of Eddie Mills.

And now ladies and gentlemen we direct your attention to one of our very first exhibits long ago, it's......
