Sad to hear the passing of the great Leonard Cohen. THOH salutes his incredible talent tonight. Couple of boots. 1) from recommended blog The Midnight Cafe comes what is basically considered the "Brussels" equivalent of Cohen boots, a 1993 show in Zurich. This boot is also available in FLAC at another recommended blog 100 Greatest Bootlegs. Also we have a 2009 boot at Beacon Theater in NYC, an FM broadcast, not complete show but stellar sound. Finally we throw out THOH's favorite Leonard Cohen song, the tranquil and meaningful "Waiting For The Miracle" - I think we could all use a miracle right about now, yes?.....The Horror!!

The 1993 tour, from which this recording originates, would likely have been Leonard's last, but he discovered in 2004 that his manager had been embezzling his earnings. He was left with little from his long career in music and publishing.
