Those of us in the over-50 category may remember when this first came out in 1984 it was in very heavy rotation on HBO and Cinemax. Unfortunately time has not been very good to this lightweight romantic tumbler and it comes across very dated. However it is not a waste of 90 mins by any stretch of the imagination and the acting performances and music soundtrack are both top-notch, Using my Pinewoods Rating System, I give the ole Roadhouse 66 an appropriate Two Pinewoods....The Horror!!
