Strange Days Movie Review & Film Summary (1995) | Roger Ebert

That's the unspoken promise of the movies, and as the unsettling prospect of computer-generated virtual reality creeps closer, it is possible that millions now living will know exactly what it feels like to be somebody else.

THOH PRESENTS IT'S "TOP FIVE BOOTLEG DISCOVERIES OF 2016" - THE SHEER HORROR!

Your not-so-humble blogmaster. Great year for the blog, thanks to all who have visited. Just for shits and grins, here's 5 of the best bootlegs that I discovered and heard for the first time this year. I must say it's a handsome group of.....The Horror!! These links are in ascending order, the Bowie is #5, the Deep Purple is #1, n joy

DAVID BOWIE 1971! - 'AYLESBURY FRIARS CLUB' FIRST KNOWN LIVE CAPTURE AN ABSOLUTE HORROR

Dig this 1971 one-off Bowie show that starts off acoustic and then out comes the band with Mick Ronson. It's all captured with what sounds like a mic over rail and best of all, we're hearing the interchange between audience and Bowie, he was breaking out that year and the sense of being on the brink of super-stardom is very palatable, thumbs way up on this one...The Horror!!

JEFF BECK AND JAN HAMMER GROUP 1976! - 'DAY ON THE GREEN' AT OAKLAND COLISEUM THE HORROR!

Oh myyyy, don't believe I've ever had the honor to hear a JB boot from this time period which on this concert included a violin player... The Horror! Sounds great - Grade A audience capture - A-- JB makes comment a few songs in about never having played to such a large audience, nice!

THE HORROR THAT IS "LED ZEPPELIN LIVE 1973 CONCERT MATRIX"! - A FAN MADE COMPILATION

Pretty cool fan-made compilation, we only know the list of songs and not sources. Every song is soundboard and the song list is almost com- prehensive but looks like the fan missed Communication Breakdown which was played here and there as an encore that year, all in all a very nicely done compilation..The Horror!

DEREK & THE DOMINOS 1970! - LATE SHOW ON 1ST NIGHT FILLMORE EAST CREME DE LE HORROR!

Greetings all from the Misty Mountain Top. Or is it Hop? Anyways a very fine and tasty Clapton boot with A+ sound and performance, dig it! Fillmore East, New York, NY - 23 and 24 October 1970 (Late Shows) There's a difference of opinion as to how these shows rate.

BRACE YOURSELF FOR THIS NEXT HORROR, IT'S "DEEP PURPLE IN HELL"! - LIVE 1970 FAN MADE COMP

And where has THIS been all my life? Sheeesh, out of left field comes this excellently done 1970 (and a little '69, who's not up for a little 69 now and then) culled from several shows and BBC sess, don't pass go, don't collect $200, just run for the exits....The Horror!!
